يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ ۖ قُلْ مَآ أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَلِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ وَٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۗ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌۭ
"They ask you what they should give. Say: Whatever good you give is for parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, and the traveler. And whatever good you do—Allah knows it."

Our Aims & Objectives

• The prevention or relief of poverty in the Jogonnatpur area of Sylhet, Bangladesh, and among individuals originally associated with that region in the United Kingdom, by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or to charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

• To relieve poverty or financial hardship among refugees, asylum seekers, migrant workers, and those who are destitute and/or living in poverty, and their dependents, in the Jogonnatpur area of Sylhet, Bangladesh, and among individuals originally associated with that region in the United Kingdom, by providing interpreting, translating, advocacy, health and housing advice, education, and financial support.

• The prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world by providing, or assisting in the provision of, education, training, healthcare projects, and all necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.

• To prevent or relieve poverty through undertaking and supporting research into factors that contribute to poverty, and the most appropriate ways to mitigate them.

• To prevent or relieve poverty by awarding a ‘fair-trade mark’ to products whose sale relieves the poverty of producers by ensuring they receive at least a fair price for their goods, and by advising such producers of the best ways in which to engage in the trading process.

• To relieve the poverty of young people by providing grants to enable them to participate in healthy recreational activities that they could not otherwise afford.

Al-Haj Redwanul Hoque Passed Away

After Passing on the 22nd of March 2010 and having his first Janazah in Brick Lane Jamme Masjid, we then preceded with his second Janazah on the 26th of March 2010 in our home villages' bazaars football field  & his burial in the Digirpar graveyard alongside his siblings and forefathers.
